Artist biographies are an important tool for artists of any creative discipline to promote themselves and their work. Join arts consultant Olivia Everitt in this hands-on workshop to learn how to write a professional artist biography and have a professional headshot taken.
This workshop will cover:
- The key ingredients of an artist’s biography, including useful templates, resources and case studies
- Creating different versions of your biography
- Other promotional tools to accompany your biography
Participants will have the opportunity to create a draft artist biography during the workshop and receive feedback. Participants will also have a professional headshot taken by Nancy Jayde Photography.
This workshop is suitable for artists of any discipline – visual art, performing arts, music, dance, literature, photography, videography, and more.
Light refreshments provided – registration is essential.
