About the artist:
Stephanie Allen is a down to earth country girl who has always loved sewing and craft but was never drawn to the traditional. Textile Art was a wonderful discovery for her. Today she uses Australian Merino wool, as well as all sorts of preloved fibres, yarns, and fabrics. Instead of a pencil or a paint brush, Stephanie uses her sewing machine to depict her love of the Australian outback, her local rainforest or life on the land.
